    The main relevant experiences include, but are not limited to, the following areas: (i) thin films and surface engineering (multicomponent multilayer and nanocomposite coatings, hard tribological coatings, corrosion- and high-temperature oxidationresistant coatings, multifunctional bioactive nanostructured films, self-lubricating coatings, antibacterial coatings), (ii) BN nanostructures, (iii) metal/BN composite materials, (iv) BN-based drug delivery systems, (v) ion-plasma technologies (magnetron sputtering, ion implantation, ion implantation assisted magnetron sputtering, pulsed electro-erosion treatment), (vi) materials characterization (X-ray diffraction, TEM, SEM, High Resolution TEM, XPS, AFM, GDOES, Raman and IR Spectroscopy), (v) evaluation of mechanical and tribological properties.
